Job Details and Responsibilities
The Database Administrator will be involved in maintaining reliable, secure and efficient database systems. The key responsibilities include:
Ensure the performance, security and availability of databases.
Design, develop and maintain database structures for efficient storage and retrieval of information.
Create, manage and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.
Monitor database performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for transferring data between different database platforms.
Perform database backup and restore procedures to support data protection and recovery.
