In pursuance of section-5 of the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973 and in view of the notified Recruitment Rules, an advertisement for the recruitment of the following Uniformed Posts under the Narcotics Control Wing of the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department, Government of Sindh is hereby published. Applications from eligible candidates having a Domicile of Province of Sindh are invited for recruitment against these uniformed posts, according to the qualifications and physical fitness / parameters specified below.

Vacant Positions & Eligibility Criteria

1. Narcotics Control Constable (BPS-07)

• Number of Vacancies: 685 Posts

  • Rural Quota (60%): 411 Posts

  • Urban Quota (40%): 274 Posts

  • Minority Quota: 5%

• Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years | Maximum 28 Years

• Educational Qualification: Intermediate with at least a "C" Grade from a recognized board of Education.

• Physical Standards Required:

  • Height: 5' x 5" (5 feet and 5 inches)

  • Chest: At least 33" with an expansion of 1.5" (34.5")

  • Running: One Mile in eight (8) minutes

2. Lady Narcotics Control Constable (BPS-07)

• Number of Vacancies: 22 Posts

  • Rural Quota (60%): 13 Posts

  • Urban Quota (40%): 09 Posts

  • Minority Quota: 5%

• Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years | Maximum 28 Years

• Educational Qualification: Intermediate with at least a "C" Grade from a recognized board of Education.

• Physical Standards Required:

  • Height: At least 5' x 2" (5 feet and 2 inches)

  • Walking: 800 meters in Fourteen (14) minutes

Mandatory Terms & Conditions

• Sukkur IBA Screening Test Requirement: Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of Intermediate Category, with at least 40% marks, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) and possess its certification, issued by STS.

• Age Calculation: The age of the applicants shall be calculated as per the relevant rules/policy issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, Government of Sindh.

• In-Service Candidates: Applicants who are already in Government Service must obtain an NOC from their parent department prior to submitting their application and bring the original copy of the NOC at the time of the Interview / Physical Test.

• Evaluation & Shortlisting: Candidates will be called to appear before the Departmental Selection Committee and Physical Fitness Evaluation Committee for tests & physical tests. Only short-listed candidates shall appear before the selection committee along with original documents.

• Expenses: No TA & DA will be admissible for any stage of the Interview or Physical Test.
