Government of Sindh IT Consultant Jobs 2026 – Reform Support Unit (RSU-SELECT)

The School Education and Literacy Department (SE&LD), Government of Sindh, through its Project Management Implementation Unit (PMIU) under the Sindh Responsible Infrastructure Program (SELECT) / Reform Support Unit (RSU), invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified individual technical experts.

These positions are short-term, specialized consulting roles on a Lumpsum Contract basis.

Vacant Positions & Eligibility Criteria

Every position requires a minimum of 03 years of relevant experience and lists preferred professional IT certifications.

1. System Administrator (C3)

• Duration: 01 Month

• Key Skills/Responsibilities: Provide technical support, manage and configure user accounts, workstations, and server infrastructure.

• Preferred Certifications: MCSA / MCSE (Windows Server), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Hyper-V administration credentials, LPIC-1 / LPIC-2, CompTIA Linux+, or Red Hat RHCSA/RHCE.

2. Network Engineer (C3)

• Duration: 01 Month

• Key Skills/Responsibilities: Network infrastructure design, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Preferred Certifications: Cisco CCNA / CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent vendor-specific networking certifications.

3. Security Specialist (C3)

• Duration: 01 Month

• Key Skills/Responsibilities: Manage system and network security protocols, mitigate vulnerabilities, and prevent digital threats.

• Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP (Associate), or vendor-specific cybersecurity credentials.

4. Backup & Disaster Recovery Specialist (C3)

• Duration: 01 Month

• Key Skills/Responsibilities: Design backup policies, build data recovery plans, and configure Disaster Recovery (DR) systems.

• Preferred Certifications: Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) or equivalent backup platform certification.

5. Virtualization Specialist (C3)

• Duration: 01 Month

• Key Skills/Responsibilities: Setup, optimize, maintain, and monitor virtualized cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

• Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or equivalent virtualization credentials.

6. DevOps / CI-CD Engineer (C3)

• Duration: 01 Month

• Key Skills/Responsibilities: Standardize software development life cycles, automate CI/CD pipeline designs, and manage deployment tools.

• Preferred Certifications: GitLab Certified Associate, Jenkins certification, or equivalent pipeline tooling credentials.
