Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore, has officially announced exciting new career opportunities for qualified nursing professionals across Pakistan. Applications are invited from eligible Pakistani nationals to fill 56 permanent positions for the post of Staff Nurse (BPS-16).

Appointments will be made on a regular basis in accordance with the established statutory rules and regulations of the Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute (SZPGMI), Lahore.

The 56 vacant seats are distributed strictly according to federal and provincial allocations:

• Merit: 5 Seats

• Sindh (Urban): 5 Seats

• Sindh (Rural): 14 Seats

• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK): 14 Seats

• Balochistan: 9 Seats

• Ex-FATA: 4 Seats

• Gilgit-Baltistan (G.B): 2 Seats

• Azad Kashmir: 3 Seats

Academic Qualifications & Experience Required

Applicants must satisfy all of the following professional eligibility criteria:

1. Gender: Female candidates only.

2. Basic Education: Matriculate from a recognized board.

3. Nursing License: Must be a Registered A-Grade Nurse.

4. Midwifery: Must be a Registered Midwife.

General Instructions & Recruitment Rules

• Special Quotas: Disable Quota, Minorities Quota, and Transgender Quota will be strictly observed in accordance with Federal Government Rules.

• Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be granted as per standard Federal Government Rules.

• In-Service Candidates: Employees currently working in government departments must apply through the proper channel. Provincial or Federal government employees with a minimum of 2 years of regular, continuous service are eligible for an upper age relaxation of up to 10 years (subject to a maximum age limit of 55 years).

• Testing Partner: The entire written screening test process will be managed independently by Candidates Testing Services (CTS).

• No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be paid to candidates called for tests, interviews, or final joining.

• Submission Policy: Applications received by hand or advance copies of applications will not be entertained. Incomplete entries or submissions received after the official due date will be rejected.
