Job Description & Overview

Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) is a "AAA" rated, renowned specialized financial institution boasting a wide network of over 500 branches across Pakistan. ZTBL is currently inviting applications from energetic, challenge-oriented professionals with a proven track record to fill an executive vacancy: Regional Business Head Peshawar (VP/SVP-I/SVP).

The ideal candidate will possess the executive capacity to serve as a catalyst for transformation and structural growth within a highly dynamic and challenging banking environment.

Eligibility Criteria

Experience Required:

• Total Banking Experience: Minimum ten (10) years of robust experience in the banking sector.

• Leadership Roles: Out of the total experience, at least five (5) years must be explicitly as a Branch Manager / Area Manager.

• Regional Preference: Candidates who have direct operational experience in supervising branch networks located within Peshawar / Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) will be given preference.

Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized institute or university (applicable to both National and International degrees).

Age Limit:

• Maximum age limit is 50 years as of the official application closing date.

Key Job Responsibilities

Selected executives will bear comprehensive oversight of the region. Main duties include:

• Business Development: Boosting branch business by driving substantial increases in sound lending, deposits, and geographical outreach.

• Network Supervision: Directly responsible for overseeing a branch network consisting of 15 to 25 branches.

• Policy Execution: Implementing the bank's operational credit and business policies as rolled out over time.

• Target Achievement: Ensuring regional targets for loan disbursements, asset recovery, and NPL (Non-Performing Loans) minimization are fully met.

• Stakeholder Liaison: Building a close liaison with agricultural sector stakeholders, including local farmers, agriculture departments, extensions, research institutes, revenue staff, and input suppliers.

• Compliance & SBP Rules: Guaranteeing strict regional alignment with SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) guidelines and field operations parameters including AML / CFT / KYC rules.

• Branch Optimization: Identifying fresh commercial opportunities for relocating or opening new branch offices.
